About Us

Scribemaster Ltd is a UK based company that specialises in manufacturing jigs for the carpentry market. We traditionally only sold to companies who put their own brands onto our products. Our jigs are actually sold through Screwfix, Howdens, Toolstation, Travis Perkins and many of the independent tool retailers, under those brands.

The company was founded in 2013 by Colin Davey a carpenter by trade who wanted to speed up his work and so went about inventing some jigs to do that. They were so good that others asked him to make some for them and so one thing led to another and eventually he decided to give up his day job and set up Scribemaster Ltd to manufacture jigs.

Colin is still the Managing Director today is heavily involved in the day to day running of the business and continues to develop new and innovative solutions for professional woodworkers.
